"She gave me the words and confidence"
I’ll try to keep this short because I can’t put into words what Anum did for me. My parents were firm about who I could marry, and I never questioned it until I fell in love outside my culture. Every conversation ended in silence or tears, and I started doubting everything. Then I found Anum. From our first call, I felt understood. She gave me the words and confidence to have the hardest conversation of my life. Somehow, my parents listened. And now… I’m engaged, with my family by my side. I never thought this would be possible. Thank you, Anum
"First time in years, we feel hopeful, together."
I never thought we’d be here again, not just co-parenting, but truly trying to reconcile. The love and respect were always there, but the emotional distance, secrecy, and intimacy struggles made us feel like total strangers. We wanted to make things work, not just for our kids, but for us. And then we found Dr. Rafiq. From the first session, her professionalism, empathy, and faith-based guidance gave us the clarity we needed. She created a safe space for us to heal, to truly listen, and to reconnect. And now, for the first time in years, we feel hopeful, together. We can’t thank her enough.
"I actually started seeing a difference in my relationship"
Where do I even start? Anum has been a godsend. I met with her a few times to help learn why I was constantly dating the same type of guy and getting stuck. Once I figured out that I can literally transform the way I feel through my own mindset reframing and approach to the way I handled situations when I was mad, I actually started seeing a difference in my relationship. It’s definitely not easy and I’m still working on it, but it helped a lot.
